11 yards Silk PLAID tartan fabric pastel CREAM PINK GREEN 54 wide female SPRING

11 yards of 100% silk fabric in a beautiful plaid with fresh, feminine, pastel colours in cream, greens, pinks and pale yellow (please see pics above and colour comparison picture, too). This fabric would be beautiful in a feminine master bedroom, girl's room, or even a fresh and inviting living room. This is a CONTINUOUS piece of fabric, and is NOT cut up into separate yards. With this much yardage, you can easily make curtains for windows and still have some fabric left over for pillows on the bed, or on sofa / chair.

The fabric is approx 54 wide, with no separate selvage area (the pattern goes right to the edges) (see pics above) this is how the fabric was made and it has not been altered. Use it for curtains, bedding, pillows, valances, chair seats, upholstery (not for everyday use- silk will not hold up well if you sit on it on daily basis)...

It has a few pretty minor manufacturing flaws: some silk threads here and there, a darker thread was woven into the fabric in a couple of places (ask to see- I ran out of pictures to show them), it has a couple of small darker spots at the edge that were from a "blip" in the roller (I believe) and there are some small dirty marks from the roller on the backside of the fabric, but no rips, holes or tears. Please read below for more info and please see the well labeled pictures above to see these pretty minor manufacturing flaws. The fabric smells like new fabric (silk has a salty smell to me), and does NOT have a sour smell, moth ball-y or mildewy scent. +++ I have some other silk fabric and other TOILE fabrics up for sale too.

MEASUREMENTS: 11 yards x approx 54 wide from side to side with no separate selvage area (the pattern goes right to the edges) (see pics above). COLOURS: fresh, feminine, pastel colours in cream, greens, pinks and pale yellow (please see pics above and colour comparison picture, too). A note about color: I describe the colours I see as best as I can and hope the photos accurately depict the colours. Colour is an opinion, it differs from person to person, monitor to monitor and it even differs based on lighting. Please ask for a colour comparison picture if one is not already provided.

COLOUR CONDITION: The colours are in new condition- never used, never washed, not worn out, not sun faded or damaged. The fabric has been rolled up, bagged and stored with some of my other fabrics. I have done my best to show and describe the colours to you. The colours may vary due to computer monitors. I did use a flash.

DETAILS: continuous piece, not cut up. MATERIAL: the selvage area does NOT say what the fabric is made of, but is is 100% silk and not a silk blend. The silk is soft, crisp and of very nice quality- not flimsy or wimpy.

The fabric is unused and not covered in "pills", but it has a few silk threads here and there (see pics) and a couple of darker threads got woven in to the fabric (ask to see- I ran out of pictures to show them). REPEAT: vertical repeat is approx 2 1/4. The horizontal repeat is approx 4 7/8. SCALE: please see the picture above with the yard stick so that you can get an idea of the size.

I also see a small spot at the very bottom of the fabric that is seen on both sides of the fabric (pic 6) a little bit of writing on the very bottom back side edge (pic 5), and a little dirty mark at the very top of the fabric caused by the cardboard tube (pic 12). There are some wrinkles here and there too (see pic 8 as an example). Please see the well labeled pictures above to see these pretty minor manufacturing flaws. DETAIL: I have put little paper notes with a clothes pins with "front" and "back side" so that you can tell the front (folded inwards) from the back side (exposed outside). No, it has not been washed or laundered.

It is unused and is clean, and not dirty. HOW TO CLEAN: silk usually is dry clean only (there is no selvage on the fabric with directions). Smoke free home, smoke free fabric.
